<p>I spent years playing water polo and swimming through high school and college, so this report caught my eye. The results claim that &#8220;swimming cuts men’s risk of dying by about 50% compared to runners, walkers and sedentary peers,&#8221; which is a pretty amazing finding. It is worth noting that the study was funded by the National Swimming Pool Foundation but it&#8217;s worth paying attention to all the same.</p>
